How long will the stairlift removal take?
The complexity and size of the stairlift installation along with the condition and age of the model can make this hard to say with certainty. However, a typical removal can take 2-3 hours to undertake including the removal of all components from the property.
What will my staircase look like if I use your stairlift removal service?
As a reputable company, we go to great ends to ensure that we remove a stairlift with the minimum of disruption and mess. We scrupulously clean up after ourselves as a matter of course. However, for non-carpeted stairs, you can expect that there might be small holes left in the stair tread where the brackets were drilled which you can often fill in easily should you wish. For carpeted stairs, you may see some minor indentation. This can frequently be remedied by either steam cleaning or simply waiting over time for the carpet and underlay to partially spring back. Of course, you may also see some colour differences in the flooring or carpet where it hasn’t been exposed to the light if under stairlift brackets.
